「狗班長」西薩陷憂鬱輕生 拿訓狗論自救

國家地理頻道《報告狗班長》主持人西薩米蘭，訓狗技術神乎其技，雖遭部分愛狗人士質疑他的訓犬理論過於暴力，但無疑是世界上最知名的訓狗師。西薩螢幕形象陽光健康，但他日前受訪時說，３年前遭逢人生低潮曾一度自殺。

2010年，他最愛的彼特犬Daddy死於癌症，１個月後結褵16年的老婆提離婚，經濟情況也瀕臨破產，他深陷憂鬱試圖吞藥自殺。獲救重生後的他將訓狗理論用在自己身上，以紀律與呵護重新站起，建立橫跨電視與出版界的王國。

今年初他推出新節目《狗班長選狗窩》為被認為不可能被收養的棄犬找到新家，推廣以認養代替購買的觀念，該節目每周日晚８點於國家地理頻道播出。
