水用淡水即可
亦可加少許粗鹽
自來水有沒有曝氣除氯影響不大
但為他好還是除個氯吧

水放的量至少過半身
最多就剛好滅頂別再多了
理想狀況是有乾燥區有水區
他想泡水想上岸由他選擇

設備很少
一個魚缸
一推沙子+幾顆石頭即可
其他擺設就看主人心情了
記住一點
缸壁最高處離缸內擺設都要超過牠的最大寬度(含他的腳一起算)
不然他絕對會 "翻牆"

這傢伙命很硬
有水別太熱有東西吃就不會死
我養的就很亂來
水桶+泥沙+滅頂的水位+自來水直接放
畢竟定位不同
他在我家的地位是清道夫
專吃各種魚吃不完的飼料和長太多的水草甚至絲狀藻
有時孔雀生病掛了也丟給他吃
寒流來也死不了
