【綜合報導】敘利亞人權觀察團體在臉書上，公開一段讓人觸目驚心的畫面，一名4歲男童因嚴重營養不良，送醫救治，最終還是不幸喪命。

這名男童來自首都大馬士革近郊穆瓦達米雅地區(Mouadamiya)，當地從去年11月動亂以來，遭政府軍圍攻，面臨食物嚴重短缺問題，孩童每天活在饑餓的狀態下，這名4歲男童，只是其中一名死於營養不良的兒童，人權團體相信還有更多兒童因此喪命。

人權團體緊急呼籲國際援助，和政府軍協商開放管制，政府軍封閉所有對外道路，禁止任何人或物資進入，不只食物短缺，醫療用品和水也同樣嚴重不足。
