跨科聯手治療 糖尿病患免截肢

（健康醫療網／林怡亭報導）1名68歲糖尿病患者，過去曾因踩到鐵釘、凍傷等因素，誘發下肢傷口感染，甚至壞死性筋膜炎等症狀，原本必須進行膝上截肢，但透過顯微皮瓣重建手術配合高壓氧治療後，不但不需忍受截肢之苦，已逐漸恢復健康。

多數糖尿病患者在面對足部潰瘍時，除了得控制血糖，也得面對難以癒合的傷口治療；高雄長庚醫院外科部主任郭耀仁指出，透過跨科整合整型外科傷口小組、新陳代謝科、心臟外科等合作，進行治療糖尿病患足部潰瘍上，成效良好。

在台灣，每年約有4000名糖尿病患者因傷口潰瘍、感染等因素，必須面對截肢的命運，高雄長庚醫院去年約有60至70名糖尿病患者必須接受截肢，但經由該院努力，目前糖尿病人需要截肢者已不到10人。

另外，近年來醫療進步，也逐漸嘗試透過新的敷料照護，都能幫助更多患者免去飽受截肢的痛苦；郭耀仁呼籲，許多糖尿病患者也可能因血管阻塞問題，造成足部壞死等現象，有任何症狀出現時，就應盡快就醫治療，才能把握黃金治療期，保全下肢。
