毒澱粉全台流竄，台北市環保局31日上午10點於木柵垃圾焚化廠，銷毀首批由市場回收的順-丁烯二酸384ppm之澱粉製品9,880公斤，包裝紙箱則回收處理。
環保局指出，所銷毀的數量高達41,884包，包含日正波霸粉圓16,916包、南北坊波霸粉圓14,408包、地瓜粉圓11,507包。
環保局表示，順-丁烯二酸為碳氫化合物，於焚化爐體內850℃～1,050℃高溫處理下，氧化成水及二氧化碳，廢氣於焚化廠空氣污染防制系統內噴入鹼性藥劑中和，並經觸媒轉化器處理至符合法規標準後排放，不會污染環境。
