蕭淑慎戒毒後身材瘦到49公斤，本月初至安養中心做公益，坦言網友開盤賭她再犯，讓她重受打擊。現階段最需要鼓勵的她，重返演藝圈她態度積極，拾回演員身分，近日已有公視單元劇找上門，她下月還將趕赴大陸洽談其他新戲演出事宜。

據《中國時報》報導，公視單元劇相中她出飾34歲女子，劇中命運乖舛，不僅拋夫棄子還離家，在外胡搞十年之久，直到最後身負重病才重回家人懷抱。經紀人吳名遠指出和蕭都喜歡該劇本，可能將接演。

而導演王重光將在大陸開拍古裝新戲，找上蕭淑慎當女主角，她預計下月10日至橫店會見製作人。演戲起家，一直很有自己想法、主見的她曾說過：「以前我就是女暴君，我說了算；現在經紀人一個指令，我一個動作，不會再想什麼都管。」
