舊金山巨人前塞揚強投Tim Lincecum本季至今仍未擺脫低潮，30日再度遭奧克蘭運動家4局內攻下6分，不但球隊終場以6比9吞敗，這也是他本季第5敗。
Lincecum首局就出師不利，加上隊友Marco Scutaro守備發生失誤，1上丟掉2分。5上更連續被敲出安打，讓運動家取得4比1領先，只能黯然退場。
巨人於6下和8下把握反攻機會，先是Brett Pill陽春砲、代打Joaquin Arias高飛犧牲配合Andres Torres二壘安打合計攻下3分。
接著Pablo Sandoval和Scutaro各貢獻1分打點，8下結束後巨人僅以6比7落後，比賽仍大有可為。
可惜9上卻讓運動家再添2分保險分，其中巨人左外野手Torres的失誤，讓後援投手Jean Machi保送後馬上丟掉1分，之後又讓運動家代打Nate Freiman敲出帶有1分打點安打。
