基改食品管理鬆散 衛福部:已有法規規範

【蔡明樺、戴安瑋/台北報導】消基會今公布抽查市售標示「非基改」黃豆及玉米製品18件,如豆漿、豆腐、玉米罐頭等,均未檢出含基因改造的黃豆或玉米,但主婦聯盟環境基金會祕書長黃嘉琳批評,台灣生產黃豆及玉米量非常少,全靠進口,多數是基改黃豆、玉米,但政府對基改黃豆、玉米的管制寬鬆,要求衛福部應盡速修法,比照歐盟嚴格管制。

衛福部食品藥物管理署回應,目前僅開放基因改造黃豆、玉米,包裝食品若以基改黃豆、玉米為原料,且基改食品原料佔最終產品總重量5%以上,應標示「基因改造」或「含基因改造」字樣;該署2002年起,每年監測約300件以上黃豆、玉米包裝食品,標示不合格率約2%至10%,違者將由各地衛生局督導改標。
