Google眼鏡最大的賣點是前衛，但最大致命傷也是過於前衛，並非每個人都能接受。然而，這種情況有望改善，也許這是Google眼鏡普及的一個契機。

根據廣州日報報導，日前，手機設計公司Sourcebits提供了一幅效果圖，將Google眼鏡『融合』到人們正常佩戴的眼鏡中。效果圖顯示，這款Sourcebits設計的Google眼鏡與我們日常佩戴的板材架眼鏡類似，黑色的眼鏡框架，遵照Google眼鏡的技術設計模式，攝像頭安置於眼鏡框的左上方，而顯示屏同樣在左鏡片上，只占鏡片的六分之一的位置。而左鏡柄是觸控位，電池則內置在鏡柄末端。根據外媒報導稱，這家公司表示目前尚未就產品實物模型與Google接觸，但如果Google與Warby Parter的合作有了結果，相信效果圖中的這副產品就是Google眼鏡未來的『寫照』之一。據了解，今年二月，《紐約時報》曾報導，Google與眼鏡制造商Warby Parker有過接觸，希望後者能幫組他們設計更時尚的Google眼鏡鏡框。
