電容器問題(直交流)(充電?放電?)

抱歉我是機械的，對於電機方面有興趣
最近再研究，遇到的問題如下：

1. 直流電接電容器，僅能充電。電子無法通過絕緣層，在絕緣層處造成絕緣材極化現象，進而達到充電效果。(這個我大致能理解)

2.但....網路上說交流可以通過電容器，這我就不能理解了，電源處的正負電不斷的切換，只是造成電容器的不斷充放電(電子流順時、逆時針不斷的來回)。電容器中間還是有"絕緣層"存在，為什麼說可以通過交流?????

抱歉，真的是初新者，請各位電機、電子科系的大師幫幫我。
