交通部修法宣布汽機車駕照終身免換，7月1日實施國際、職業駕照除外。
記者溫于德／台北報導 鑒於因未打方向燈、上下車未以兩段式開門，造成交通事故的比率越來越高，交通部今(10)天發布新的考照規則，7月1日起，考照未打方向燈單次將扣16分，意即在汽機車考照70分的標準下，違規兩次就將失格，下次請早！ 交通部表示，，為使駕駛人養成良好的駕駛習慣，交通部公路總局已修訂駕照路考部分項目扣分標準；轉彎或起駛未顯示方向燈，提高扣分標準至16分，包括轉彎、變換車道外，倒車入庫、路邊停車、曲線進退及曲巷調頭等項目均應使用方向燈並轉頭察看，普通重型機車路考場設置2個模擬岔路項目必須顯示方向燈。 另外，本次修正也增加汽車上、下車開車門前未留意側後方有無人車通過（應以2段式開門），將扣8分，以左腳控制煞車踏板扣16分等扣分項目；普通重型機車則增加行車時雙腳懸空，未置放於腳踏板－扣8分，加油門併同緊握煞車方式之非正常操控車輛行車扣8分。
