世界報業大會關注泰冒犯君主罪

（中央社記者林憬屏曼谷3日專電）第65屆世界報業大會今天在曼谷召開，泰國冒犯君主罪引起關注，與會者認為此法創造違反新聞自由原則的恐懼氛圍。

世界報紙與新聞出版協會總裁馬修（Jacob Mathew）在大會上指出，媒體在這個自由國度無法享受無拘束的自由，全世界都感到驚訝。

馬修承認泰國新聞自由程度高於許多亞洲國家，但他也認為，冒犯君主罪遭濫用而創造了恐懼氣氛。

「曼谷郵報」（Bangkok Post）即時新聞報導指出，過去6年政治動盪中，因冒犯君主罪遭起訴的案件大幅增加，最長刑期為15年。

馬修表示，冒犯君主罪的問題在於，任何個人或公私單位都能對他們認為觸犯此法的人提出告訴。

曼谷郵報指出，批評者呼籲修改冒犯君主罪法，避免此法遭到政治因素濫用。1020603
