台鐵基隆站陸橋倒塌

在今（8）日上午發生的基隆市中山人行陸橋崩塌事故，導致一名女子連人帶橋墜落，並造成臺鐵基隆－七堵站暫時封鎖。原本預估要在凌晨才能恢復通車，但經緊急搶修後應該在今晚23時就可以恢復雙線通車。
受到陸橋倒塌影響，臺鐵基隆站第1、2股電車線斷落各約50公尺，致基隆－七堵站間列車改單線雙向行車。需待陸橋移除後，電力搶修車才能開始搶修，預計電車線修復約需6小時。
而在17時50分時，基隆市政府已將人行陸橋吊離完成，現場大型建物已移除，臺鐵表示工務、電力同仁開始路線、電車線搶修作業，因作業進度超前，預估今晚23時可恢復雙線通車。
搶修完成前，預估影響55列車、共延誤600分鐘，約9800名旅客受到影響。
